Over the last few weeks, with the spread of the pandemic COVID-19, The current outbreak has required unprecedented changes in the way we operate our daily lives.

Care and Cure Medical Clinic has been providing quality medical care to patients. As health care providers, we aspire to continue to provide necessary medical care in this challenging time.

On behalf of all the physicians, staff and management team, we would like to advise you of how we will continue to provide medical care to each one of you and your families in the safest way possible.

We are kindly requesting the following:

If you have any concerning symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose or sore throat. Please use the Alberta Health Services COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool at https://myhealth.alberta.ca/Journey/COVID-19/Pages/COVID-Self-Assessment to determine if you should be tested for COVID-19 or to come in to the clinic.
When you enter the clinic please use the hand sanitizer at the front desk or use the washroom to wash your hands with soap and water.
Please attend your appointment by yourself (rather than with family members) if possible, to minimize person-to-person contact.
When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your vehicle or nearby the clinic and enter the clinic no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment or check-in while you are waiting in your car For your safety and other`s safety too, we are trying to minimize patients sitting in the waiting area. The goal is for you to be roomed immediately upon arrival.
If you have travel history, please self isolate for 14 days and if you have any concerns please call us.
We are offering virtual consult through phone or video consult:
- please call and book an appointment
- Physicians will contact you and listen to your essential needs

We continue to follow all protocols as per Alberta Health Services, regarding cleaning exam rooms and disposing of equipment and garbage safely.

Our Doctors:

Dr. Hamza Hamza, MD, LMCC, CCFP

Dr. Hamza is a graduate of the Family Medicine Program at Calgary University. He is a member of the Royal College of the Family Physician of Canada. He studied medicine at Cairo University, had an MSc of pediatrics and was a member of the royal college of pediatrician and child health -in London. He practiced pediatrics in Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, and Abu-Dhabi. Despite his extensive experience in dealing with children in his practice for over the last 3 years, he extended his scope to include family medicine.

DR. BILAAL OWADALLY, MBBch

Dr. Owadally graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 2006. Originally from Mauritius, he lived and worked in South Africa before moving to Alberta in 2011. Also fluent in French, he enjoys the opportunity to help French speaking patients whenever possible.

Dr. Marsha Kucera, MD, CCFP

Dr. Marsha Kucera is a family physician with a special interest in Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity and is a member of the Canadian Clinicians for Therapeutic Nutrition (CCTN). She completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa in 2012 and her Family Medicine residency at the Cumming school of Medicine, University of Calgary in 2014. Dr. Marsha Kucera is a Clinical Lecturer for the Cumming School of medicine, Univerity of Calgary, and has been teaching medical students and residents in Family Medicine since 2015. She has additional training in Obesity Medicine through The Obesity Medicine though Harvard Medical School. With this Expertise, she can support you with your goalss to reduce your blood sugar and cholesterol, Manage your weight, and improve you overall health. Our goal is to prevent the complications associated with metabolic syndrome, Diabetes, and obesity by helping address your health conditions through lifestyle modifications, and ultimately prevent the progression of overweight into obesity within our population.
